On 18th February 2018, Flydubai and Emirates Airlines hosted an event where the professionals of the travel trade industry had the opportunity to meet up casually for cricket. The two Airlines jointly organized the knockout cricket tournament at Jalaluddin Ground DHA Karachi for the leading travel agents of Karachi.

The 10 participating teams were:
- Anwar Services
- JAS Travels
- Polani Travels
- Gerry’s Travels
- Bukhari Travels
- Aroma Travels
- Quality Aviation
- AEG
- Fazal-e-Rabbi Group
- Oasis Travels

The final was played between Anwar Services and Gerry's Travel - out of which the final lead was taken by Gerry's Travel!

Mr. Jabr Al Azeeby, Vice President Emirate Pakistan and Mr. Vijayakumaran Avili, Regional Manager Flydubai Pakistan presented the trophy to the winning and runners-up teams.

Man of the Match was given to Mr. Farish Kalim of Gerry’s Travels
Mr. Naeem Sharif, Chairman TAAP presented Shield to Mr. Vijayakumaran Avili for organizing this successful event.
